Barong Dance – Kintamani Volcano - Ubud

 
A full day trip which has a point enjoying the stunning view of Mount and Lake Batur , a mountain which has been recommended for those who like adventures to trek till the top for admiring the crater and sunrise. The first stop might be Batu Bulan village where the Barong Dance - describes the eternal fight between the good and bad spirits - is performed. Artists villages and house compound are the next visits before reaching the temple monastery of Gunung Kawi (11th century), a temple which  was founded by the river of Pakerisan and very famous with its historical relieves. Tegalalang, - the panoramic rice terraces - is on the way to Ubud where the handy crafts centre is.
Besakih – Tirta Gangga – Kusamba Fishing Village
 
Besakih (8th century) is  well-known as the mother temple and supposed as the eldest one since the coming of Hinduism influence in Bali. Next visit is Tirta Gangga, a water palace used to be as an entertainment centre during the East Bali Kingdom’s rule by passing a very panoramic paddy fields view of Selat. Kusamba is the stop on the way back as an old fishing village with the traditional boats.
Lake Beratan – Tanah Lot – Uluwatu
 
Taman Ayun (17th century), the  Royal Family Temple is possibly the first stop before heading to Ulun Danu (17th century), a temple which is located on the top of Lake Beratan and very well-known as the “water temple”. Tanah Lot (16th century), the temple on the rock looking like a small island and the elegant costal line is the next visit before proceeding to Uluwatu (17th century), the temple on the stiff white cliff with the monkeys around and the unique  show of Kecak Dance which starts when the sun is setting (when weather permits)
Lake Beratan – Jati Luwih – Tanah Lot
Taman Ayun (17th century), the Royal Family Temple is possibly the first stop before heading to Ulun Danu (17th century), a temple which is located on the tip of Lake Beratan and very well-known as the “water temple”. Jati Luwih, the most magnificent view of endless paddy field terraces is the next before visiting Tanah Lot (16th century), a temple founded on the rock looking like a small island and supported by the elegant costal line that looks fantastic in siluete when reflected by the sunset.
Lake Beratan – Gitgit Water Fall – Lovina Holy Hot Spring
A whole day trip going to the northern part of Bali by having stop in Bedugul for the water temple of Ulun Danu (17th century) and Lake Beratan might be the early visit. Gitgit water fall is the next trek on the way to Lovina with its black sand and calm wave. The holy hot spring is an interesting option to visit even take a bath for the cheap natural massage (from the water fountains) and sauna.
